Quality Management Systems Implementation Training Program was conducted for managers and selected professionals of Khalifa A. Algosaibi Diving and Marine Technical Services at ADAMS office Manama, Bahrain. The program comprehensively covered the requirements and interpretation of various clauses of ISO 9001:2008.
The Company, Khalifa A. Algosaibi Diving and Marine Technical Services Company were previously ISO 9001 certified under its parent organization Algosaibi Diving and Marine Services (ADAMS). The technical services are separating and forming as a company in its own right and required its own accreditation. To ensure a smooth transition and implementation all supervisor staff and above underwent formal ISO 9001:2008 training. Â "The personnel from ADAMTS who attended the course now have a full appreciation of the requirements and definitions within ISO 9001:2008 and will be able to fully assist the implementation and accreditation of ISO 9001," said Mr. Paul Darvill, during his short address to delegates, emphasized on the importance of having world-class Quality Management Systems integrated in our service delivery processes as per ISO 9001. Â Mr. Darvill Said, "ADAMTS envisions itself to lead the Middle East market for diving and marine operations and wishes to set a benchmark as a leading organization and operating as per International Management Systems standards for ISO 9001," he reiterated, "It would serve to add value to our services and enhance client confidence that ADAMTS has well trained professional resources and world-class management systems viz. ISO 9001; and are geared to support any challenges in the Middle East. Infovision Consultants W.L.L has been instrumental in revolutionizing our approach to Quality Management Systems." Â The training program was conducted by Infovision Consultants W. L. L. with Principal Consultant, Mr. Mobin Sheikh. "An ISO 9001 certified organization has a viable advantage over competitors. Certification to internationally accepted criteria provides complete confidence in the quality of products and services provided by ADAMTS and carries global acceptance", said Mr. Mobin during his short address.

The core business activities are in the provision diving services and marine equipment in support of the offshore oil industry and it has been providing these services to a variety of customers in the Middle East for nearly forty five years. The Company (ADAMS) expanded its operational capability to an international basis in 1995 by the acquisition of the DPSV Adams Challenge (sold in 2005). This DP capability was further expanded in 2000/2001 by the introduction of the DPSV Adams Arrow and the DPSV Adams Nomad (sold in 2009) and in 2002 by the introduction of the DPSV Adams Surveyor (sold in 2010) and the DPSV Adams Aquanaut, a 73 meter LOA multi-role vessel delivered in December 2003.
The fleet was further enhanced in 2009 when the company took delivery of their new-build DPII Dive Support Vessel, the 'ADAMS Challenge' in Q1 2009. Q4 2009 has heralded the inclusion of Rem Poseidon and Q1 2010 the Adams Vision in the fleet.
More recently, the DP fleet Management has been established as Adams Offshore Services Limited, an independent and wholly owned entity and an ISO 9001:2008 accredited company, separate from the parent establishment not only to manage and operate DP vessels owned by the ADAMS group, but also to provide similar service to other DP vessel owners and provide a comprehensive range of technical maintenance and crewing services in support of its diving and marine operations.
